Used Shoe Donation Drive
On Saturday, April 13 and April 27 between 10am and 12 noon, the Varsity
Football team will be ready to receive your used shoes! Our shoe donation
drive is one of many fundraisers helping our team to reach our fundraising
goal to send our 60 Varsity Players to Hawaii for their first pre-season
game. Each player has been tasked with collecting at least 150 pairs of
shoes. The WHS community can help our efforts by rummaging through their
closets for old pairs of shoes, tying the pairs together and dropping them
off on either drop off date at the small parking lot adjacent to the track
field on W. Yale Loop - just behind the football scoreboard. Or you can
contact any Varsity Football Player and they will be happy to pick up your
shoes from your home. We hope you will help us with our used donation drive
because ultimately the shoes we collect will be given to those less
fortunate in other countries who need shoes!
